Apply the sensor

Attach the sensor to your skin and monitor your levels

From preparation to sensor activation – our detailed guide will safely guide you through the entire process.

Step 1: Clean the Skin

Wash the skin with a fragrance-free soap and remove any hair from the area where you want to apply the sensor. Then, dry the skin with a towel.

Step 2: Apply the sensor

Place the applicator on your skin and ensure that the blue ring is flat and not tilted. Press the applicator firmly down and press the button to release the sensor. Hold the applicator on your skin for a few seconds.

Carefully remove the applicator and dispose of it properly. Make sure the white adhesive pad is securely attached to your skin.

Step 3: Attach the transmitter

Before attaching the transmitter, make a note of the serial number (“SN”) located on the back of the transmitter and the packaging. Wait 15 seconds after removing the applicator. Then align the transmitter with the sensor unit and press it firmly onto the sensor until it clicks into place and is securely attached.

Remember to keep the transmitter when the sensor has reached the end of its lifespan.

Step 4: Activate the transmitter using the app

Download the DIABEX app from the App Store (iOS) or via QR code (Android). Connect the transmitter to the app and receive your first glucose readings.
