About Pilatumed:
Family-run business since 2022

Pilatumed GmbH is a family-run, medium-sized company that was founded in Switzerland in 2022. Since then, the company has successfully specialized in two core business areas.

The first business area includes research in the medical field as well as the development of modern medical clinics. Using the latest technologies and innovative methods, we continuously work to improve healthcare. Our services are offered in our private clinics in Bern and Zurich, as well as in the general practice in Root, where we provide top-notch medical care.

The second business area focuses on commercial activities, divided into two parts: On one hand, we import state-of-the-art medical devices that meet the highest quality standards. On the other hand, we develop innovative medical ideas and design more advanced devices that are perfectly tailored to the current needs of people. Our first product in this area, DIABEX™ CGM, a cutting-edge blood sugar regulator that uses a sensor and transmitter, is already successful in the market and is used in many countries.

With branches and representatives in Europe and the Middle East, Pilatumed is steadily expanding and offering its high-quality products and services in numerous countries.

About the Founder

Pilatumed was founded by Dr. (IRN) Bezhad Hosseini, a specialist in internal medicine. In addition to his role as founder and medical director, he runs the general practice in Root, which opened in June 2023. He is also a teaching physician at the University Hospital of Bern, where he shares his knowledge with the next generation of doctors. Dr. Hosseini combines medical practice, research, and education, and advocates for innovative solutions in healthcare.
